Short for animation. In Japan, it refers to all animation, but internationally, it specifically refers to Japanese animation.

Casual negative form of です. Used in informal speech. Cannot directly follow i-adjectives (use くない instead). In questions, can mean 'isn't it?' seeking confirmation.
本当

本当 (ほんとう) means 'truth/reality' as a noun or na-adjective (本当のこと 'the truth'). With に it becomes an adverb meaning 'really/truly'. Often shortened to ほんと in casual speech. Similar to 本当に but more formal than まじで or ガチで.

Connects two nouns to show possession or attribution. The modifying noun comes before の, and the modified noun comes after. Can also connect clauses when nominalizing.

Used to nominalize verbs and adjectives. Also used to express abstract concepts, as opposed to もの which refers to physical objects. Often used in set phrases and formal writing.
さ

さ as sentence ending adds casual assertion or reassurance, mainly used by men. As suffix, creates nouns from adjectives expressing degree/quality (高さ height, 美しさ beauty).
みんな

Casual form of 皆(みな). Refers to all members of a group. Can be used as noun or adverb. When used with で (みんなで), means 'together with everyone'.
が

Marks the grammatical subject, especially for new information or in subordinate clauses. Emphasizes what performs the action. Also means 'but' when connecting clauses.
