Unlike English 'know', 知る focuses on the moment of coming to know something. For states of knowing, use 知っている (know/have knowledge of). 知らない means 'don't know'.

It takes time.
Noun meaning time (duration/period) or hour as a unit. Can refer to a specific time, duration of time, or class period in school. Used with counters for hours (一時間 'one hour').

Particlepossessive particle indicating belonging, attribution, or relationship
Mother's cooking is the most delicious.
Connects two nouns to show possession or attribution. The modifying noun comes before の, and the modified noun comes after. Can also connect clauses when nominalizing.

中 (なか) indicates the inside or middle of something, both physically and abstractly. Can mean 'among' when referring to groups, 'during' for time periods, or the middle position in rankings. Also read as ちゅう in compounds.

Marks location of action (where something happens), means/tool (how/with what), material, reason, or scope. Different from に which marks location of existence.
