Marks the topic of a sentence - what the sentence is about. Often implies contrast with other possible topics. Written as は but pronounced 'wa'. Differs from が which marks the grammatical subject.
止める

The traffic light turned red, so he hurriedly stopped the car.
Used for stopping motion (a car), stopping a flow (water, gas), or fixing something in place (a button, a pin). Note the different kanji variants like 停める for parking.
いい
Adjectivegood, nice, fine
Tomorrow the weather will be nice, so it will be sunny.
Colloquial form of よい (yoi). Cannot be conjugated normally - uses よく for adverbial form, よかった for past tense, etc. One of the most common adjectives in everyday Japanese.
