There is just one problem.
ただ has multiple meanings: 1) 'only/just/merely' to indicate limitation or exclusivity. 2) 'however/but' at the beginning of sentences to introduce contrast. 3) 'free' when written as タダ or 只, meaning no cost. The meaning depends on context and position in the sentence.

中 (なか) indicates the inside or middle of something, both physically and abstractly. Can mean 'among' when referring to groups, 'during' for time periods, or the middle position in rankings. Also read as ちゅう in compounds.

Marks location of action (where something happens), means/tool (how/with what), material, reason, or scope. Different from に which marks location of existence.
