Usage Notes
後 (あと) indicates 'after' in time or 'behind' in space. Common patterns: の後で/の後に (after doing), 〜した後 (after doing). Different from 後(ご) which is used in compounds like 午後 (afternoon). Can also mean 'remaining' or 'rest' as in 後は (as for the rest).
