표준시(標準時)는 동경 135도의 자오선(子午線)을 표준자오선으로 하여 정한다. 다만, 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 일광절약시간제(日光節約時間制)를 실시하기 위하여 연중 일정 기간의 시간을 조정할 수 있다.

부칙 <제10640호,2011.5.19> 이 법은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.
