법령의 규정에 따라 서명날인[기명날인(記名捺印)도 포함한다. 이하 같다]하여야 할 경우 또는 날인만 하여야 할 경우에 외국인은 서명만으로 이를 대신할 수 있다. 다만, 그 외국인이 서명날인 제도가 있는 국가에 속하는 경우에는 이 법을 적용하지 아니한다.

부칙 <제10307호,2010.5.20> 이 법은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.
