국방부 군비통제검증단령

제1조(설치) 남ㆍ북한 군비통제 합의, 국제조약 등에 따른 군사분야의 사찰 및 군비통제 등과 관련된 업무를 효율적으로 수행 또는 지원하기 위하여 국방부장관 소속으로 국방부 군비통제검증단을 둔다. <개정 2014.10.8>

제2조(기능) 국방부 군비통제검증단(이하 "군비통제검증단"이라 한다)은 다음 각 호의 사항을 관장한다.

1. 남ㆍ북한 군비통제 합의에 대비한 군사 분야의 사찰과 관련된 업무

2. 국제군비통제 관련 조약 및 협약에 따른 피(被)사찰 준비 및 사전점검

3. 대량살상무기의 위협에 대응하기 위한 정책 지원 및 관련 기술 지원

4. 군비통제 및 군사통합에 대한 연구 및 정책 지원

5. 제1호부터 제4호까지의 업무에 대한 전문성 향상을 위한 교육훈련

제3조(단장의 임명과 직무)

① 군비통제검증단에 단장 1명을 두며, 단장은 2급 이상 군무원으로 보(補)한다. <개정 2014.10.8, 2017.9.5, 2019.2.19>

② 단장은 국방부장관의 명을 받아 군비통제검증단의 업무를 총괄하고, 소속 직원을 지휘ㆍ감독한다. <개정 2014.10.8>

제4조(부서의 설치) 군비통제검증단에 필요한 참모부서를 두며, 그 조직과 업무 분장에 관한 사항은 국방부장관이 정한다. <개정 2014.10.8>

제5조(정원) 군비통제검증단에 군인과 군무원을 두며, 그 정원은 국방부장관이 정한다. <개정 2014.10.8>

부칙 <제14359호,1994.8.19> 이 영은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.

부칙 <제23060호,2011.8.3> 이 영은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.

부칙 <제25647호,2014.10.8> 이 영은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.
