제1조 군인유족기장(이하 "기장"이라 한다)을 받고자하는 자는 별지 제1호서식의 군인유족기장수여신청서에 군인 사망통지서사본을 첨부 관할병무청장을 거쳐 국방부장관에게 제출하여야 한다.

제2조 기장은 관할 병무청장을 거쳐 수여한다.

①군인유족기장령 제7조의 규정에 의하여 기장을 계승하려할 때에는 별지 제2호서식의 군인유족기장 사용자이동신고서에 증서를 첨부하여 관할 경찰서장에게 제출하여야 한다.

②전항의 신고서를 받은 경찰서장은 그 신고사항을 확인한 후 증서에 필요사항을 기입하여 이를 계승자에게 교부함과 동시 관할병무청장을 거쳐 국방부장관에게 보고하여야 한다.

제4조 기장을 계승할 유족이 없는 경우에는 관할경찰서장은 증서와 함께 이를 회수하여 관할 병무청장을 거쳐 국방부장관에게 반납하여야 한다.

부칙 <제186호,1969.9.2> 이 영은 공포한 날로부터 시행한다.
