제1조 (목적) 이 규칙은 「지방교육행정기관 및 공립의 각급 학교에 두는 국가공무원의 정원에 관한 규정」에 따라 지방교육행정기관에 두는 국가공무원의 정원 중 고위공무원단에 속하는 일반직공무원으로 보하는 직위의 직무등급을 표시하기 위하여 필요한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.

제2조 (고위공무원단에 속하는 일반직공무원의 직무등급) 지방교육행정기관에 두는 직위 중 「지방교육행정기관의 기구와 정원기준 등에 관한 규정」 별표 3에 따른 고위공무원단에 속하는 일반직공무원으로 보하는 직위의 직무등급은 별표와 같다.

부칙 <제888호,2006.7.14> 이 규칙은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.

부칙 <제921호,2007.12.31> 이 규칙은 2008년 1월 1일부터 시행한다.

부칙(교육과학기술부와 그 소속기관 직제 시행규칙) <제24호,2008.12.31> 제1조(시행일) 이 규칙은 2009년 1월 1일부터 시행한다. 제2조(다른 법령의 개정) ① 부터 ⑦ 까지 생략 ⑧ 지방교육행정기관에 두는 국가공무원의 정원 중 고위공무원단 직위의 직무등급의 표시 등에 관한 규칙 중 일부를 다음과 같이 개정한다. 별표의 등급란의 "나등급"을 "가등급"으로, "라등급" 및 "마등급"을 각각 "나등급"으로 한다. ⑨ 및 ⑩ 생략

부칙 <제151호,2012.6.26> 이 규칙은 2012년 7월 1일부터 시행한다.
