제1조(목적) 이 규칙은 「소음ㆍ진동관리법」 제21조의2제3항 및 「공동주택관리법」 제20조제5항에 따라 공동주택 층간소음의 범위와 기준을 규정함을 목적으로 한다. <개정 2023.1.2>

제2조(층간소음의 범위) 공동주택 층간소음의 범위는 입주자 또는 사용자의 활동으로 인하여 발생하는 소음으로서 다른 입주자 또는 사용자에게 피해를 주는 다음 각 호의 소음으로 한다. 다만, 욕실, 화장실 및 다용도실 등에서 급수ㆍ배수로 인하여 발생하는 소음은 제외한다.

1. 직접충격 소음: 뛰거나 걷는 동작 등으로 인하여 발생하는 소음

2. 공기전달 소음: 텔레비전, 음향기기 등의 사용으로 인하여 발생하는 소음

제3조(층간소음의 기준) 공동주택의 입주자 및 사용자는 공동주택에서 발생하는 층간소음을 별표에 따른 기준 이하가 되도록 노력하여야 한다.
