제1조(목적) 이 영은 2018 평창 동계올림픽대회 및 동계패럴림픽대회의 성공적 개최와 운영에 기여한 군인, 경찰공무원, 소방공무원 및 자원봉사자에 대한 평창 동계올림픽 및 동계패럴림픽 기장의 수여 등에 필요한 사항을 정함을 목적으로 한다.

제2조(기장의 수여대상자 등) 평창 동계올림픽 및 동계패럴림픽 기장(이하 "기장"이라 한다)은 「2018 평창 동계올림픽대회 및 동계패럴림픽대회 지원 등에 관한 특별법」 제2조제2호에 따른 대회직접관련시설, 2018 평창 동계올림픽대회 및 동계패럴림픽대회 조직위원회 또는 그 밖에 2018 평창 동계올림픽대회 및 동계패럴림픽대회(이하 "대회"라 한다)의 안전한 운영을 위하여 필요한 지역에서 다음 각 호의 업무를 10일 이상 수행한 군인, 경찰공무원, 소방공무원 및 자원봉사자에게 준다.

1. 대회의 경호 및 경비업무

2. 대회의 화재 예방 및 구조ㆍ구급 등의 소방업무

3. 대회의 준비 및 운영 등에 관한 지원업무

제3조(형태 및 양식) 기장의 형태 및 양식은 별표와 같다.

제4조(수여권자 등)

① 기장은 문화체육관광부장관이 준다.

② 문화체육관광부장관은 기장을 받는 사람에게는 기장과 함께 별지 서식의 평창 동계올림픽 및 동계패럴림픽 기장증을 준다.

제5조(기장의 패용) 기장은 이를 받은 사람만 달 수 있다.

부칙 <제29941호,2019.7.2> 이 영은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.
